Tui Superstrike seed protection is a revolutionary treatment which encourages fast germination of lawn seed; 7 days under suitable growing conditions.
The unique treatment protects the seed from insects – including Grass Grub, Argentine Stem Weevil and Black Beetle – as well as seedling fungal diseases for up to 6 weeks during plant establishment.
Seed is coloured and contains a taste deterrent to assist in deterring birds from stealing seed.

Tui Superstrike Hardwearing contains a mix of fescue, ryegrass and browntop seed and produces a coarse textured lawn once established. Apply to hard to grow or high traffic areas like playgrounds, backyards and driveways.

Directions for use

Wear protective clothing when applying lawn seed and wash hands when completed.

1. Rake area to be sown to remove debris.

2. Apply Tui Lawn Preparation Mix to a max depth of 50mm.

3. Sow seed evenly at a rate of 25g per square metre.

4. Water after sowing seed and keep moist until germination.

5. Water regularly and deeply to establish a healthy lawn.

A new lawn will be ready to mow when it has reached a height of 5cm and the root system has established.
