Q.
Hi, are there any issues with growing strawberries from seed?

A.
Hi Wayne, no, the fresher the seed the better. Mash the fruit to a pulp, in a sieve run water through to get rid of the pulp, dry off the seed, store until ready to sow in a cool dry place.
Sow seed in autumn or early spring indoors to start with and then move outside. The seed is fine so the right size sieve will be required so the seed doesn’t fall through with the pulp.
