Hi, Tui Organic Sheep Pellets - BioGro Certified - does this contain only sheep manure or is there a filler like bark, sawdust, straw etc in there too?...also is the pre-sprouted weed control accomplished using heat pasteurisation?

Hi David, Tui Certified Organic Sheep pellets are 100% New Zealand sheep manure there are no fillers added. The raw material for sheep pellets comes from coarse wool that mainly goes into making carpets. The pellets are 100% weed free, in the pelletising process the raw material is forced through a die, this creates friction and heat, the pellets are heated to over 100 degrees C, this kills any viable weed seed that may be present in the sheep dag raw material. Tui do have a composite pellet which is Tui Chicken and Sheep pellets, it contains aged chicken manure and sheep manure blended together.
