Q.
Yesterday I sprayed my growing vegetables with Tui Performance Naturals All Purpose liquid fertiliser. Afterwards I realised that I wanted to pick some baby spinach for my dinner and didn't know if it was safe to eat, even after washing it thoroughly. I didn't pick it just in case. Is it okay to eat vegetables after spraying with fertiliser?

A.
- It is safe to use on food crops and to use the produce after the fertiliser has been applied.
- There is no withholding period for Tui Performance Naturals liquid fertiliser concentrates, a withholding period is the time from application to being able to eat the produce, and only applies to chemicals such as insecticides and fungicides.
- Performance Naturals liquid fertiliser formulation is made using 100% natural inputs.
- As always though, best practise is to rinse and wash produce from the garden before consuming.
