Q.
Hi, can I prune my Feijoa in October. Thank you, Susan

Hi Susan, your feijoa should be starting to flower or at least have flower buds, if you prune now, you will be removing all of the fruiting wood and will not get any fruit this season. The best time to prune is after fruiting has finished if you are in a frost free area (April/May), or in late winter (August) once the risk of frost has passed. If you are not concerned about getting any fruit this season you can prune your feijoa in October. Lianne.
