Hi, I have a lime tree near two lemon trees and the lime fruit have turned yellow and the flesh tastes like lemon. Have they been cross pollinated?

Are the limes green to start with and then have turned yellow? Limes will go yellow if not picked when they are green. The taste is usually a bit more bitter once they turn yellow.
