Q.
I want to sprinkle Sulphate of Ammonia on my broadleaf weeds on the lawn. Can this make my dog sick if he eats it?

A.
- Keep pets away from any fertilisers as it can cause skin and eye irritation, and in extreme circumstances vomiting or diarrhoea can occur.
- Keep pets out while applying fertiliser, once applied, water in well and check there aren't any clumps the dog may come into contact with.
- Keep the dog off the lawn until the lawn dries, there shouldn't be any fertiliser residue once it is dry.
