Hi Shari, this is a great area to grow fruit trees such as cherries, apricots, plums, apples, pears and nectarines. Your local garden centre or DIY store will be able to recommend the best varieties for your area. If you have limited space or to make sure you have the correct pollinators look for double and triple grafted fruit tree varieties.
