Hi, I transplanted rhubarb in April and it looked really healthy, however today almost all of the leaves have been eaten on the plant. We live on farmland and I wondered if possums have been known to do this? This literally happened overnight.

Hi Charmaine
It could be possums, rabbits or birds. Are there any pukekos around or free range chooks?
You could try spraying the plant with Tui Seaweed & Fish fertiliser, as the fish emulsion is a deterrent, also raw sheeps wool can deter possums if used as a mulch.
Thanks, Tui Team.
