Q.

What is the difference between the Tui Certified Organic and Tui Essentials Vegetable mix?

Bella

A.

  • Tui Vegetable mix contains an organic bark base, and includes pumice, blood and bone, dolomite lime and sheep pellets with the addition of a controlled release fertiliser and starter fertiliser for prolonged feeding, which are synthetic fertilisers.
  • Tui Performance Organics Certified Organic Vegetable mix has the same organic bark base, with pumice, sheep pellets, blood and bone and seaweed extract as well as organic slow release fertilisers. All inputs are traced back to their source of origin, ensuring inputs are sustainably harvested from renewable resources and audited annually by Bio Gro.
  • The main difference in the mixes is that Tui Certified Organic Vegetable mix is Bio Gro certified and has 100% organic inputs and a 3-4 months slow release fertiliser. Tui Vegetable mix has an organic base but contains a synthetic starter fertiliser and controlled release fertiliser that feeds for 6 months.
