Why are half of my mandarins still green?

  Auckland
  October

Q.

Hi Tui, my mandarins were beautiful on the lower half of the tree but the upper half are very green and the flowers have come and gone. What do I do with the green fruit. Thanks.

Jan Williams

Hi Jan, leave the fruit on the tree, it will ripen. The tree must have flowered at two different times, the top half of the tree was later than the bottom half. Keep watering and feeding, they will ripen very quickly. The Tui Team.
