I have a full bag of Tui Citrus fertiliser but the bag has burst. Can I use this on tomato plants, plum trees or roses? It seems a shame to throw it out if not.

Hi Janet, yes, you can use the Tui Citrus fertiliser on other plants. The main difference with citrus fertiliser is that it is boosted with extra magnesium to prevent yellowing leaves, tomatoes and roses will especially love it, flowering and fruiting plants will benefit from the potassium (potash) in citrus food. If the fertiliser has gone hard put it in a bucket and break it up with a hammer. Apply as per the application rates on the pack. Lianne.
