Q.
I’m wanting to apply gypsum to my lawn. What quantity per square metre should I use?

A.
- Use Gypsum at a rate of 500g – 1kg per square metre of lawn.
- One 8kg bag will cover 8-16 square metres.
- One 25kg bag will cover 25-50 square metres.
- The application rates vary due to the type of soil the lawn is growing in.
- For heavy clay soils use it at the higher rate, for good soils use at the lower application rate.
- Water in well after application.
