We planted some elephant garlic on the shortest day now we have pods growing at top, is this going to seed? Also growing in pots. Thanks Baz

Hi Baz, yes, it sounds like your garlic is going to seed. Early maturity is often caused by inconsistent watering and plants bolt and go to seed. Unfortunately nothing can be done now to remedy the problem, but check to see what is under the ground.
