Hi, what is the average PH of your vege mix? Looking to plant rhododendrons into an area that has a quantity of Tui Vegetable Mix. Thanks.

Tui Vegetable Mix is typically in the 5.5 – 6.5 PH range.

Rhododendrons like an acidic soil environment so although Tui Vegetable Mix will work in this situation and planting into the existing Vegetable Mix would be okay, we would suggest Tui Flower Mix as a good option for using in the planting holes themselves.

We suggest you use Tui Enrich Rose, Camellia, Azalea & Gardenia Controlled Release Fertiliser for on-going fertilising.
