Q.

What types of plants are good for banks?

Amanda

A.

Hi Amanda, plants that are good for banks are low growing, tumbling types of plants. These don’t seem to get affected by the wind as much. Look for ground covering, dwarf hybrids of varieties of ceanothus, coprosma, libertia, flax, hebes, succulents and tussocks. For flowering options look for gazania, red hot poker, dianella, arctotis and catmint.
