Why are the leaves on my ficus tuffy yellowing?

Q.

I have ficus tuffy planted down my boundary (3 years old). Some leaves are green but other leaves are yellowing. Why might this be and what can be done about it? Thanks for your help.

Hi Julie, the plants that are yellowing may either be lacking in nutrients or have a problem with water, either too much, or too little. Ficus like a free draining soil, and dislike a waterlogged or dry soil. So, check your soil. And if you haven’t already, fertilise with general garden fertiliser.
