Bay of Plenty

Hi there, I have a pandorea pandorana that is growing in a pot approximately 50cm wide. It is nearly a year old and its leaves are starting to yellow and fall off. Can you please advise what I can do? I live in the Eastern Bay of Plenty.

Hi Michele, the vine is probably root bound in the pot, the roots are probably very tight in the pot so it is getting harder and harder for water to penetrate down - is there any chance of repotting it into a bigger pot with fresh potting mix?
If there isn’t then we suggest sprinkling SaturAid around the top of the pot and feeding with Tui Enrich Pots & Containers. SaturAid will help the water penetrate down into the soil and channel it to the roots. After a very hot dry summer the plant is probably suffering a little so Tui Seaweed Plant Tonic is also a good pick me up – use at a rate of 70ml per 9L watering can every two weeks.
