My rosemary is losing its leaves. This is an upright plant and the height is 1.8m. I'd be happy to provide pictures to show what I mean.

Hi Sylvia, the main reasons rosemary defoliate is when the soil is very wet, and water logged. If you do not think this is the case, the plant may have a split trunk down near the base of the plant, this can cause the same symptom. Check your soil and the base of the plant.
