Hi, will lime chips around citrus trees harm them?

Hi Barbara, there is a possibility that lime will leach out of the chips and filter into the soil, therefore it is a recommended to leave a 1-2 metre space around the trunk of the tree to keep the majority of the leaching away from the main feeder roots. Happy gardening from the Tui Team
