Tui Potted Colour Mix

A fine free-draining blend provides a balanced mix of nutrients and water holding capacity to create the ideal growing conditions for your potted colour, keeping plants healthy and flowering for longer.

Directions for use
Directions for potting plants
- Water plants thoroughly before potting and allow to drain.
- Partly fill your container with Tui Potted Colour Mix.
- Gently take the plant from the current container, loosen the root ball and remove any loose or dead plant material and roots.
- Position the plant in the centre of the new container and fill with Tui Potted Colour Mix to just below the top of the container.
- Gently firm potting mix around the base of the plant. The potting mix should be at the same level on the plant as it was in the previous container.
- Water your plant well and continue to water regularly.
Directions for planting in garden beds
- Water plants thoroughly before planting and allow to drain.
- Add a layer of mix to the planting area.
- Dig a hole approximately twice the depth and width of the root ball of your plant.
- Gently take the plant from the current container, loosen the root ball and remove any loose or dead plant material and roots, then position the plant in the centre of the hole.
- Fill in with Tui Potted Colour Mix.
- Press mix gently around the base of the plant.
- Water your plant well and continue to water regularly.
To encourage a continued flourish of blooms, regularly remove any faded or dead flowers, so the plants can put their energy into growing new flowers.
