Sunflower kernels are high in protein and dietary fibre. They are a good source of minerals including iron and potassium, and vitamins B1 and B6. Sunflower kernels fat content is largely polyunsaturated.
Origination: Confectionary grade sunflower is imported from Australia and Europe and is not treated so will germinate if required. Australian sunflower is also high in naturally occurring selenium, compared with New Zealand South Island grown seed.
Sorghum is a small round orange seed that is incredibly drought tolerant when growing. It is seen as the fifth most important cereal crop grown in the world and a favourite seed for doves. Origination: Sorghum is sourced from Australia who is one of the largest sorghum growing countries in the world.
