Hi, why won't wax eyes drink my sugared water in a custom made sugared water container. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi Murray, I know it can take a while for birds to find sugar water, but once they do, you can’t keep them away. Is the container too close to the house or animals that may scare them away. I suggest placing some fruit such as an apple or orange near the sugar water, they are attracted to fruit and then will find the sugar water. Lianne, Tui Team.

Great idea for Murray. In my garden it is tempting with fruit without starlings and blackbirds stealing them!! I want them in my garden in autumn, but now never see them.
