Q.
Hi, please see attached photo of a fungus/toadstool growing in our lawn, how do we get rid of this without killing the lawn?

Hi Rob, apply lime to your lawn at a rate of 100g per square metre (approximately one handful or 1/4 of a cup). The toadstools/fungi are there breaking down organic material in the soil which is a good thing, lime will help speed the decomposition process up. The presence of broad leaf weeds in the lawn is a sign the soil is acid and so needs 'sweetening', the application of lime will stimulate growth and improve soil pH. I hope this is helpful, Lianne.
