Hi, is there a way to increase the size of the flowers on my new Tulips?

Hi Bill
Chilling is the secret to flowering success. Do you have cold winters? The colder the winters, the better the flowering. If you are in a warmer part of NZ bury the bulb a bit deeper or lift the bulbs once they have finished flowering and place them in the fridge for chilling for 6-8 weeks and then replant in autumn or early winter. Feed your bulbs with Tui Bulb Food when the first leaves and flowers appear and again when flowering has finished. Tui Bulb Food contains potassium which enhances flowering.
Thanks, Tui Team
