Where in my garden should I plant a Tahitian lime tree?

  Manawatu

Q.

Where in my back garden should I plant my new Tahitian Lime tree - an open area of sheltered?

Ronnie Douglas

A.

Hi Ronnie, all citrus like a sheltered sunny position away from frost and cold winds. The sunnier the better. Dig the soil over prior to planting and blend in compost and Tui Garden Mix into the ground before the plant goes in. Stake the plant if you live in a windy area and feed in spring and summer with Tui Citrus Food. All the best.
