- The herb sage improves flavour and helps to repel insect pests.
- Lettuce and spinach are good ground covers the ground to suppress weeds and help conserve soil moisture.
- Onions, garlic and chives help repel insect pests such as aphids.
- Marigolds are all good companions for strawberries to help repel insects.
- Remember to feed strawberries with Tui Strawberry Food every four to six weeks over the growing season.
