Coprosma Scarlett O'Hara features delicious reddish orange variegated foliage which changes with the seasons. After the rich crimson tones of summer the cooler months bring a rich burgundy and black appearance which will make a lovely accent to Autumn or Spring flowering perennials.
Scarlett O'Hara is from the Native Gems breeding program and is part of the very popular Cocktail Coprosma range.

Hi Angelica, Annton Nursery have advised Bunnings stores in the North Island are promoting this plant at present. If this doesn't help let us know your location and we can find out your nearest stockist. Thanks! Gemma (Tui Team)

We have a rabbit issue in Orange Co. Calif. Do you think they will leave this plant ALONE?
Corinn
Hi Our coprosmas are not very "leafy" in the middle of the plants Is this normal or should we be doing something
Linda
Hi Linda, suggest giving your plants a light prune to encourage more growth from the centre of the plant. If the plants are in the shadow of other plants, the Coprosmas can shed foliage that doesn?t get enough sunlight. An application of Tui Organic Seaweed Plant Tonic will give the plant a boost too. Happy gardening from the Tui Team

Hi, just wondering when is the best time to trim this plant and also what sort of fertiliser would be best for it?
Ron Ball
Hi Ron, this Coprosma is lovely. It can be trimmed in autumn, cut it back to form an even shaped plant, it can cope with heavy pruning.
Fertilise with Tui NovaTec Premium fertiliser, sprinkle this around the base of the plant. Then add a layer of mulch to protect the roots and keep the weeds away.
