Our Workplace Wellness Garden

We're excited to have created a garden at our head office as part of our staff wellness programme and sustainability journey!

Full of greenery, colour and crops, it's the perfect place for staff to take a break, enjoy time in nature and share in fresh food.

We upcycled old fruit bins to create six new garden planters for our space. The team got together to paint them in bright colours for added interest ahead of planting.

The gardens were filled with Tui Outdoor Container Mix and planted in early December with seedlings gifted from our friends at Zealandia. It was a fun afternoon getting the team outside in the sunshine.

By mid-January we were treated to a garden full of fresh produce to eat and take home to our families!

We've held staff events in the garden and staff have enjoyed wandering out to take a break and having a sunny, green space to sit and eat lunch.

The harvests continued through the seasons and staff have enjoyed being able to pick their own fresh seasonal herbs and veges.

In June we refreshed our workplace wellness garden with our favourite winter greens, adding herbs for extra flavour and violas for an edible pop of colour.

We look forward to sharing more tips and projects as we grow through the seasons!

  • Great idea. More companies could do this. It is very healing and relaxing to potter in a garden. I bet the staff are a happy bunch!
