Refill your Tui Seaweed! We’re excited to announce we are trialing a refill station for our Tui Organic Seaweed Plant Tonic and Tui Seaweed & Fish Fertiliser at Mitre 10 Papamoa.

As part of our sustainability journey, we're excited to announce that we are trialing a refill station at Mitre 10 Papamoa for our 1 litre Tui Organic Seaweed Plant Tonic and Tui Seaweed & Fish Fertiliser.

It's super easy! Simply:

  1. Bring in your empty Tui Organic Seaweed / Tui Seaweed & Fish bottle
  2. Ask a friendly team member to refill for you
  3. Pay at checkout

Spread the word to your local family and friends, and bring in your empty bottles to give it a go if you’re in the Tauranga area!

Please note this is just a trial at this stage so is only available in the one store. However if successful, it will be rolled out to further stores around the country.

Check out a video of it in action on our Instagram here.

  • Roll that out nationwide. Your Seaweed & Fish is the best fertiliser ever

    • Fabulous idea!

  • Let’s hope it takes off & will be available all over NZ.

    • Totally agree

  • WOW! What a great idea. Maybe you could be like Bin Inn and we could use our own reusable containers. I would love to see this in Wanganui.

  • I live in Nelson & I am all for being able to refill my bottles. Someone should have done this years ago

  • This is fantastic, look forward to seeing it in other areas too. Pukekohe will be great ;)

  • Please bring the refil trials to Auckland! That would be awesome!

  • Awesome idea, what about opening one down in the Naki.

  • Fantastic!! I'm quite sure this will be nation wide quickly. I will certainly use it when it comes to Hastings.

  • Another great initiative by Mitre 10 to keep more plastics out of our waste stream and landfill. Tui seaweed is excellent to bring new life into plants and trees.

  • Yes please!! Everywhere?

    Annette van Heerden

    • Hi Annette, at this stage Tui are trialing the refill station in the Bay of Plenty, but we have had such positive feedback, watch this space in the future.

  • What an awesome idea, can't wait for this to come to Hamilton. Will hopefully save on plastic and maybe might be cheaper. Never know.
