Hi Thomas,
Avoid moving the tree in summer and move it now as winter is the best time to do this. Transfer it into a planter bag or into a pot until it is ready to plant in the garden in summer. Wrench the tree by digging around it with a spade to a spade depth and leave for 4-6 weeks before lifting. This will stimulate new root growth. Trim back the foliage by approximately one third. Regularly apply Tui Organic Seaweed Plant Tonic to the tree before transplanting as this will reduce transplant shock. Continue to apply Tui Organic Seaweed Plant Tonic after transplanting and apply at a rate of 100ml per 9L watering can every 2-4 weeks. Place Tui Garden Mix or Tui Citrus and Fruit mix (this will be available mid July) into the planting hole or pot you are transferring the tree to. Add Tui Sheep Pellets to the planting hole as well.
Thanks, Tui Team
