What is causing my tomato flowers to fall off?

  Wellington
  December

Q.

Hi, my tomato flowers are falling from the plant. I brought them tomato food but without interest. My friend suggested that I buy sulfur phosphate to be sprayed on the tomatoes. What is the solution and thank you.

Ala’a

A.

Hi Ala'a, when tomato flowers fall from the plant it generally indicates the flowers haven’t been pollinated. To improve pollination, encourage bees and pollinating insects into your garden or using a paint brush, move pollen from one flower to another. Tomato fertiliser will help the plant as well as regular applications of Tui Organic Seaweed Plant Tonic
