Hi, my Christmas lily bulb has grown a long stem with leaves but no buds. Will it do this again next year? Is the bulb still a good one? The other two grow beautifully.

This suggests there is a lot of nitrogen rich organic matter in the soil, hence lots of leaf and no flowers. Lilies need to be kept moist and not allowed to dry out as this affects bulb quality and ultimately flowering so use a mulch such as Tui Mulch & Feed around them to keep the soil moist.
Feed the bulb with Tui Bulb Food which has potassium (K) to promoting flowering for next season.
Make sure you allow the foliage to die down naturally and not cut the foliage off when it is looking shabby, this is the bulbs food source for the next season and if cut back too soon will also affect flowering.

When can I divide my Christmas lilies?

Hi Shirley, divide Christmas lilies in autumn through to early winter when the foliage starts to yellow, lift, divide and replant them straight away. Lilies do not stop growing, so replant or pot up into pots immediately, they are not stored over winter like other spring and summer flowering bulbs.
