Q.
Hi, I would like to plant a fejoa hedge in my small garden but would only be able to have it approx 1m high. Will it still fruit if I keep it trimmed to this height? Thank you.

Hi Wendy
The bigger the tree, the more fruit you will get essentially. If you trim the tree to 1m it will still fruit as long as you keep up with regular watering and feeding, however it probably wont be as prolific.
You could look at getting one of the smaller feijoa varieties such as Bambina, which grow to about 1.5m high.
Thanks, Tui Team.
